Appeal for Information – Stolen Moped

Dear Resident,

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information following the theft of a moped from Highmoor Road in the early hours of Thursday 16 July 2026, at approximately 2:00am.

The stolen vehicle is described as a black Lexmoto LXR moped.

We are asking residents to review any CCTV, doorbell camera, or dashcam footage that may assist with our enquiries. We would also like to hear from anyone who may have seen the vehicle before or after the theft, or who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area around the time of the incident.

If you have any information that could assist the investigation, please contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 and quote the crime reference number shown on the attached leaflet.

No matter how insignificant it may seem, the information you provide could prove valuable to our enquiries.
